AFA turns boycott-happy attention towards Wisteria Lane
Calling it "one of the trashiest programs on television," our old buddies at the American Family Association are now warning sponsors of "Desperate Housewives" that they are monitoring who advertises on the show and plan to initiate a yearlong boycott of any and all companies who support the hit series.
Though don't fret, Botox -- your support, while seemingly considerable, is likely to be denied by all involved.
It remains to be seen if any advertisers will pull out due to the AFA's ultimatums; however, we hear Planters is considering it, so as not to lose the folks who so fervently embrace "nuts."
