Four new shows come to Logo's high-digited cable home
Noticing the success the Lego-based work received online and at various film festivals, The folks at the Logo network have announced that they'll bring Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World (pic.) to their airwaves later this year. Once again proving just how thin-obsessed the entertainment industry truly is, as our GENIUS pilot featuring Rick & Steve's more stout, DUPLO-bodied cousins went absolutely nowhere. It's things like this that drive nice young blocks to melt themselves, Logo -- honestly!
In addition to our thin Lego friends, the net has also announced plans for three other series: "Slink," an animated show focusing on five lesbian cats (insert p*ssy joke here); a new sitcom called "The Rules: A Lesbian Survival Guide" (insert U-haul after two dates joke here); and "Heartland," a drama about an Iowa farm boy who is now an NYC-based student (insert something somewhere).
It remains to be seen if any of these shows -- be they Lego, cartoon, or human-based -- will be able to find an audience. Though if not, don't come crawling back to our portly but lovable blockheads, Logo; they're now addicted to Play-Doh and living on the shelves of a thrift store, thanks to you. Happy?
