Study: Mothers with multiple gays in their litters often share more than PFLAG in common

by Jeremy Hooper

In a new study detailed in this month's Human Genetics journal, 25% of mothers who have more than one gay son were shown to process X chromosomes in their bodies in virtually the same way. This is a far greater percentage of similarity than was seen in mothers with one or no gay sons, with those ladies registering rates of 13% and 4% respectively.

Interesting.

In a related story, our own unscientific study suggests these multiple gay son-possessing mothers are also far less likely to process their sons' breakups with ex-partners by saying, "And I thought they would be the one to give me grandkids," than are their hetero son-possessing counterparts.

We should be scientists; cut and dry, this stuff!

It remains to be seen if this and other genetic studies will one day force "pro-family" types to quiet their "gays can change" shenanigans; though considering it's science, the data would, of course, first have to be converted to uncertainty before it would ever be embraced.
