Chuggin' down the impartiality highway: Equality Ride heads to Tennessee

by Jeremy Hooper

First, 20+ of them were arrested at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University; press on, they did.

Then 6 were arrested at Pat Robertson's Regent University; deterred, they were not.

Now, the gay activists with the Soulforce Equality Ride will try to avoid getting nabbed at Tennessee's Lee and Union Universities, as they continue to tour the country protesting anti-gay policies of various colleges; determined, they are.

So far, officials at Lee and Union have announced no plans to apprehend the Equality Riders when they step foot on their campuses later this week (16th and 18th, respectively); relieved, their chafed wrists will be.

Oh, and if you're a regular reader who's all like, "Wow, this entry really was not funny at all;" think of something terribly witty to say, we unfortunately couldn't.

But congrats on the attention your mission is receiving, Equality Riders; can't help but listen, a 'mo foe or two.
