Live Out Loud raises voice, calls for teen applicants

by Jeremy Hooper

The non-inside voice-using folks at Live Out Loud are calling on all New York-area high school seniors who've demonstrated leadership qualities in their communities to apply for this year's youth scholarship program. The organization annually gives out five awards, each of which provides the recipient with $2500 to be used to pursue a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/ vocational training program.

Not to be outdone, we're offering all future college attendees this old piece of advice, to use as they please: Beer before liquor, never sicker; liquor before beer, you're gonna miss class and flunk out and have to become a blogger. Or something like that.

Those young'uns wishing to apply for the scholarship can do so here; those wishing to apply our practical knowledge can do so when they're 21 (and not a moment sooner, aspiring barflies).
