Penn House committee approves marriage ban; House pen committee approves Bics
By the narrow margin of 15-13, the Pennsylvania House State Government Committee has approved a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, sending it to the full House for a vote. If given the go-ahead there, it would then have to be approved in the Senate, then passed again next session in both chambers before it could be put to a statewide referendum.
Here's hoping that while jumping through one of those many hoops, the potential historical black mark stumbles and breaks its asininity.
