Prom of Tracy & Tracey to be held in Tracy
Tonight in Tracy, California, hundreds of local LGBT students will gather at Anthony's Steak House for a gay prom, an event the "fag-hating" protesters from Westboro Baptist are expected to picket. Which of course means that through Westboro's famous signs, we might FINALLY get to hear exactly how God feels about rented limos and wrist corsages. We've certainly been wondering!
Though we would like to take a second to express our sincere hope that none of the Westboro folks decide to wear the same shade of nutty, as that would be soooo embarassing...
'Damn you Shirley, you knew I was wearing the misguided extremism -- you told me you bought into misplaced hostility. Ugh, just don't stand close to me all night; we don't wanna draw attention to our similarly fallacious rhetoric. Matter of fact, why don't you just go over there and stand next to Jael's inappropriate dogma? Oh, and see if you can find me some punch -- I'm like totally parched from all the ridiculous claims I've been yelling.'
Best of luck, prom attendees! And remember, don't let Westboro ruin your night; your parents' insistence to "just take one more picture" is supposed to be the most annoying part.
