UCC it here!

by Jeremy Hooper

In what is sorta like the gay cable network equivalent of a bitch slap, the folks at here! have announced that they'll run free of charge the new United Church of Christ ad that was deemed "too controversial" by Logo's parent company, MTV Networks. Take that, Viacom-based venture!

In keeping with the theme of going against the policy of a fellow gay institution in order to make some sort of a point, we will -- unlike GLAAD, HRC, and the Taskforce -- continue to use words like "poop," "fart knocker," and "heaping pile of legislative cow dung" in all of our stories. Take that, well-financed, respected cousins!
