Referen-dumb: Coloradans to vote on domestic partnerships
Voters in Colorado will decide in November if a domestic partnership registry will be allowed in the Centennial State. Unfortunately, however, that potential positive step for gay couples might be joined on the ballot by a still-pending proposal to define marriage as a man and a woman, as well as one that would bar recognition of any arrangement similar to marriage.
Nonsense.
Maybe at some point, homo-gays, elections won't be days for us to cross our fingers and pray that our loved ones will no longer be our legal strangers; until then, we must try our damnedest to make our relationships just a little more legal, stranger.
Hopeful.
