Boston Macy's pulls gay-friendly mannequins; diversity-encouraging clothes racks said fearful

by Jeremy Hooper

Due to complaints from anti-gay group MassResistance, a Macy's department store in Boston has altered a Gay Pride-centric display in their store window:

Window
(old display)
Windowb
(new display)

Because seriously -- nothing says PRIDE! quite like succumbing to an extremist fringe group by placing dummy representations of gay men back in the storage room. After all, we can't imagine why in the hell you'd want to please your gay male clientele; it's not like they shop or anything.

So yea, thanks so much for the "support," Macy's! Oh, and Barneys: How late are you guys open tonight?
