Shepherd moonlighting as lesbian
It's been announced that actress Cybill Shepherd will be joining the cast of "The L Word" this year, as the lesbian-centric drama enters its fourth season.
Meanwhile, Christine Baranski is currently starring in Mame at Washington, DC's Kennedy Center.
So let's see -- lesbians entertained: check. Gay men entertained: check. Now if someone from the cast of "Cybill" will just set out to entertain the bi and trans communities, then they're a lock for the "Most LGBT-pleasing Cast of a 90's Sitcom" prize at next year's TV Land Awards. That is, of course, unless the cast of "Boy Meets World" finally mounts that long-rumored cast production of La Cage aux Folles. In that case, all bets are off.
