'Roeding, Dick' spews a few boners
In just the past four days, Kentucky Sen. Dick Roeding (R) has disparagingly said of the University of Louisville's decision to offer domestic partner benefits to gay couples, "I don't want to entice any of those people into our state," and offensively referred to the state's Log Cabin Republicans as "a bunch of queers."
Relatedly, in just the past four minutes, we have said of the Senator, "Good God Almighty, why can't his last name be 'Riding?' adding that "it'd be so much easier to see where he was coming from is 'Riding, Dick' truly was a Sen."
The head of the KY Democratic Party has called on the Senator to apologize and even resign for his anti-gay comments. Not to be confused with the head of KY Brand personal lubricant, who we're expecting to call on us to write their next ad campaign.
