Study: Marriage equality good for kids o' gays; Study: one of the 9 rooms on a Clue board
In the July 2006 edition of its Pediatrics journal, the American Academy of Pediatrics (the nation's largest pediatrician organization) has posted a report finding that children of same-sex couples would benefit from their parents being allowed to legally marry.
So how will the religious right spin this one? We predict their response will go something like: "Well duh -- kids of gays start drinking at the age of 2, so the open bar that is customary at modern weddings would allow them to get tanked while their parents are busy destroying traditional society."
That, or they'll just use junk science and attempt to discredit the study. Either way, their logic will be faulty; our kids start drinking at 4 and a half, earliest.
