Though if Simon Cowell would chastise the gays' rendition of 'I do' on national TV, perhaps he'd be game
When asked about gay marriage by The Independent, Fox/ News Corp head honcho Rupert Murdoch said:
"I believe it is wrong. I'm considered homophobic and crazy about these things and old fashioned. But I think that the family - father, mother, children - is fundamental to our civilisation."
To which we reply,
"Oh, well Mr. Murdoch, you must of misunderstood the question. Ya see, it wasn't about going on a homicidal rampage and killing all heterosexuals, thus eliminating father/mother/child families. It was about folks who are not biologically drawn to this type of familial arrangement to also have their loved ones protected. But way to stay on message there, Rupe."
Worst part of Murdoch's gay marriage-unfriendly views? Who the hell's gonna get this groom-to-be that China that he wanted now? ::sigh:: Only Rupert could afford the entire country, and it just isn't the same without Hong Kong and Beijing. Maybe Oprah , but I was hoping she'd get me outer space or the world's oceans or something. Damn Rupert.
