Wherein we leave the registry section of Barneys, yet vow to return soon

   Although it was speculated that a ruling in a case seeking to legalize gay marriage in NY could come today, it looks now that that will not happen. A ruling could come tomorrow or later this summer, though most everyone agrees that it will come before Labor Day.

And see -- they say we're not "traditional," but even in the gay world we like to put marriage before "labor." So sit tight NY gays -- by the autumn, Autumn and Autumn could cease to be legally autonomous.
