Dennis seems to only derive 'joy' when the 'Mount' is girl/boy

by Jeremy Hooper

Dennis Mountjoy -- the California Assemblyman who in days of recent has said of a gay rights bill's repercussions, "we'll no longer have prom kings and queens. Jack and Jill can no longer walk up the hill" and said of a gay-honoring ceremony, "What they want is to be considered a protected class, and they're not going to have it. And we ought not to be honoring people for their behavior in the bedroom. End of story" -- yesterday added to his repertoire of queer-unfriendly quotes by reportedly saying to openly gay Assemblywoman Jackie Goldberg:

"What you seek in society is acceptance, but your lifestyle is abnormal. It is sexually deviant."

::sigh:: Don't you just hate when politicians are wishy-washy about their stances? Honestly, Dennis -- JUST TELL US WHERE YOU STAND! We need clarity, brotha'.

Later in the session, Mountjoy did reportedly apologize to anyone he had personally offended. Totally explaining why we yesterday heard a collective "too late, buddy!" coming from the general directions of West Hollywood and San Francisco.
