Some Philly parents spooked by October
Some parents in the Philadelphia area are peeved that the city's school district has decided to include in this year's student calendar a recognition of October's Gay and Lesbian History Month.
They would, of course, much rather their impressionable kids learn about October the same way we all did: as a month of witches, ghosts, skeletons, vampires, and gorging oneself on candy.
