Corzine won't re-bachelorize us if court says 'I do' to equality
A spokesman for Jon Corzine has announced that the New Jersey governor will not approve legislation banning same-sex marriage, should the state's Supreme Court rule that such unions are constitutional. And while we'd rather he didn't approve of gay marriage bans for the simple fact that they're all the legislative equivalents of used truck stop toilets that have gone unflushed for two decades, we'll certainly take what he's offering here.
The Jersey Supreme Court is expected to rule on same-sex marriage any day now. Here's hoping they haven't approved of any of the flawed, anti-gay rhetoric that birthed these backwards bans in the first place.
