PA to become 18th state to non-discriminate?
Pennsylvania state representative Dan Frankel (D-Allegheny) has introduced legislation to ban anti-LGBT discrimination in employment, housing, and credit throughout the Keystone State. Which is totally promising news for all those gays who wish to introduce their partner at the company holiday party and not lose their Allentown-based job.
Unless, of course, your partner drinks too much egg nog and tells the boss how you call him AssFace McCracken and wish nightly for his forceful ousting, then runs off to inform Sue from Accounting how you change the numbers in her spreadsheets whenever she takes a pee break. No law gonna protect ya there, gays.
Frankel's bill currently has 57 sponsors and a Senate version has the backing of 19 senators. Oh, and it also has the principles of fairness and decency on its side, the likes of which always win out sooner or later. *Non-discriminatory fIngers crossed*
