Survey: 'We're Here, We're Queer' chants have grown increasingly louder

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 9-16According to a new study conducted by UCLA's Williams Institute, the number of same-sex couples in the United States rose by more than 30% between 2000 and 2005, with the largest increase coming from the Midwest. Which can mean only one thing, gays: Clearly "Operation Recruit and Convert the Impressionable Children Living In The Northern States Of The U.S. From Ohio West To The Rocky Mountains" has proven successful. Obviously.

Oh wait a second -- we're not supposed to talk about that, are we? Uhm...well..uh..just forget you heard that, okay Evangelicals? Damn, this must why HRC keeps a safe distance from us!

The study estimates that there are 8.8 million gay, lesbian, and bisexual people living in the U.S. However, we'd imagine if the surveys were culled from a direct brain scan of everyone's true desires rather than census responses, the decimal point separating the two 8's in that figure might be eliminated and replaced with a nothing.
