Video: Well in his defense, 'caressing balls' is a queer activity
From Saturday's NIU vis. Iowa game, as broadcast on ESPNU (wait for last ten seconds):
Yes, that's commentator Brian Kinchen boldly going where John Madden has had the good sense not to venture, and fellow announcer Clay Matvick demonstrating how an abbreviated silence can sometimes speak louder than even the most vocal of replies. You can almost see Matvick wildly shaking his hands and screaming with his eyes, "Dude -- your gonna wish you could afford balls for your kids to caress after your GLAAD-displeasing words get us punted out of here!"
Awkward play-by-play.
Be sure to keep an eye out for future ESPNU games, when we predict Mr. Kinchen will spot a lady in the stands eating a box lunch, an activity he'll consider 'a bit dykey.' Whatever that means...
