Bush predicts Mary will triumph over all the criticisms that his presidency has kept alive
In an interview with People magazine, President Bush reportedly says he think Mary Cheney will make a "fine mom," adding, “I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I’m happy for her.”
In fact, we hear he's so concerned for the well-being of Mary's family, that he'll continue to see to it that her and her "legal stranger"s ring fingers are naked, so as to avoid the chance that the band may scratch the baby's delicate forehead.
So sweet, that one!
No word on what gift the Prez plans to get the new baby. However, we hear he did see some "blocks" he liked -- one that would federally ban the babies parents from joint adoption, another that would keep them both single, and a third that would keep them out of the army.
