Foxx on the hens' house: Jamie makes Oprah/Gayle joke
The NY Daily News' Rush & Molloy column reports that while speaking at an event honoring Will Smith this past Sunday, actor Jamie Foxx made a crack about the Oprah/Gayle King gay rumors. R&M detail Foxx's comments as such:
"I was talking about you the other day," Foxx told Smith. "I was laying in bed with Oprah, and I turn over to Gayle and I say, 'You know what?'" Howls of laughter muffled Foxx's last line, but the Oscar winner went on to say he hoped Bravo cuts the gag from its broadcast of the gala. (As you know, Oprah and Gayle have scoffed at talk that they're lovers.)
Ooh...somebody's getting an icy stare at the next event where uber-rich people congregate!
We'll have to wait and see if Bravo does decide to show Foxx's bit when they air the Smith tribute in January. But just to be safe, we hear Oprah is considering using the money under her sofa cushions to just go ahead and buy the network.
