Reaction to Mary's fertilized womb: Now with early death predictions!
If there is one man who is most associated with the term "batsh*t insane use of junk science in order to demonize homosexuals," it is longtime quack Paul Cameron. His flawed methodology and misuse of data are legendary in the world of gay/anti-gay activism, with no credible body taking his words or "studies" with even one grain of salt. Now, of course, the "pro-family" groups still use his facts and findings from time to time; but like we said...no CREDIBLE body.
Well today, Mr. Cameron has taken his uncanny knack for posting convenient theories as fact to the realm of political daughters and their impending deliveries, with the discredited "doctor" chastining Mary Cheney for choosing to bring a kid into this world. In a press release he's titled "Mary Cheney Cruel to Children," Cameron says in part:
"By this selfish action, Cheney is not merely disrupting society, she is being cruel to her child:
* Mary, 37, is currently 'partnered' with Heather Poe, 45. The median age of death for lesbians is around the late 50's. If Poe and Cheney stay together, odds are this child will lose at least one caretaker before graduating high school.
* Children of homosexuals testify that day-to-day living is more difficult – and they are more apt to report personal disturbance as a consequence.
* A high proportion of lesbian 'partnerings' break apart -- with custody issues haunting the child for the rest of his life.
* The child will disproportionately associate with homosexuals – who are as a class considerably more apt to have STDs and a criminal history, be interested in sex with children, involved in substance abuse, etc.
* The child will have a much higher probability of learning homosexual tastes (at least a third of lesbian's children adopt homosexuality).
"Her pregnancy is further evidence that participation in homosexual activity distorts value systems, inducing practitioners to harm the commonweal. Our society already has too many children born without the benefits of marriage; Cheney's action is not only a bad example, but poor treatment of an innocent child."
WOW, gays sound so awful!! Why don't people just exterminate or castrate them!?
Wait, what's that you say? Cameron has actually and seriously suggested both options. Oh.
And yet WE marriage and adoption-craving gays are the ones who "distort value systems?" Well, considering that assertion is coming from a man who has turned distortion into an art form, we'll actually consider that a compliment.
