Thank God: Jersey pastor barred from further cursings
The Rev. Vincent Fields, who yesterday said during a (supposed to be non-political) invocation that he delivered on the floor of the Jersey Senate:
"We curse the spirit that would come to bring about same-sex marriage. We ask you to just look over this place today, cause them to be shaken in their very heart in uprightness, Lord, to do that is right before you."
...has been banned from giving further Senatorial opening prayers.
However, we hear the Alabama Senate might consider him if only he'll stop being so mealey-mouthed and liberal.
