VoteonMarriage.org to SueinCourt.soon

by Jeremy Hooper

MassVoteOnMarriage.org, a group seeking an amendment to ban Massachusetts' currently legal practice of gay marriage, has announced that they'll file a lawsuit against the 109 state legislators who voted to recess last month without acting on a proposal to place their amendment on the 2008 ballot.

Or as 2025 history books will remember this story:

Yet another vain attempt to thwart marital equality was made in December of 2006, when a group seeking to write discrimination into their state's most precious governing document attempted to sue the Massachusetts legislature for rejecting their biased efforts.

Accurate.

VoteOnMarriage.org will hold a press conference tomorrow to detail the damages that they'll seek in the lawsuit. Though considering they daily seek to impair the legal rights of their state's same-sex couples, aren't they already seeking enough "damage"? Just a thought.
