Whither 'Agape'?
So when one tries to visit Agape Press, the reliably gay-unfriendly news organization from the reliably gay-unfriendly folks at the American Family Association, they are now greeted with this message...
...before being immediately redirected to a new, much bloggier conserva-cluster f*** known as One News Now:
And they didn't even let us know?!? Or mouth is simply agape at the shocking oversight!!!
In addition to the regular Agape features and columnists that we've come to know and mock, this new site also aggregates "news" from such conservative stalwarts as CNSNews.com, WorldNetDaily, and NewsMax.
Like a one-stop-shop for those who like their information mixed with far right political extremism!
But you know, if there's one thing we're gonna miss, it's Agape's old familiar halo-adorned "A":
After all, their self-righteous decision to give their head vowel a cherubic circle of light always served as a nice reminder that we weren't dealing with an actual news outlet -- we were dealing with a group of self-professed morality experts. What on the new site could possibly serve as such a handy reminder of the extremist, gay-unfriendly, "pro-family" content within?
Oh yea, that'll do. Peace out, Agape!
