Chesney/Cooper enter gay realm -- and it's all on tape!
According to the blog of Orlando Sentinel reporter Hal Boedeker, country singer Kenny Chesney will attempt to squash rumors that he is gay when he appears in a sit-down interview with Anderson Cooper on this Sunday's edition of "60 Minutes." Boedeker quotes Chesney as saying of the gay chatter:
"It's not true," ..."Period. Maybe I should have come out and said, 'No, I'm not [gay]. But I didn't want to draw any more attention to it ... I didn't have to prove to anybody that I wasn't [gay} ... I didn't feel like I really did."
Interesting.
Be sure to also watch the end of the broadcast, where we hear Andy Rooney will address long-standing rumors about his eyebrows. But as for Anderson addressing the much bandied about rumors regarding his own sexual orientation: for now he seems to still think it's Safer to Stahl.

Interesting...I had really expected to see Troy Montgomery (of Montgomery Gentry) outed before Kenny. If true, I know a lot of young (and not so young) women who will be mighty disheartened.
