Hill: Not yet with us on marriage fight, with us on literal battle

by Jeremy Hooper

Good As You Images Topmast Hillary-1During a campaign stop at Iowa's Luther College, Hillary Clinton once again voiced her support for overturning the Don't Ask, Don't Tell military ban that was initiated during her husband's first year in office. H. Clinton borrowed a line from "Mr. Conservative" Barry Goldwater and said:

"I think the question should be not whether you are straight, but whether you shoot straight."

A quote that's bad news for those who are cockeyed; promising news for those male soldiers who have an eye for....nevermind.

Now if only we could get Ms. Clinton to speak about what a steaming pile of poo her hubby's DOMA truly is, we might be able to start talking about a commitment (both in terms of our love and electoral life)!

Your thoughts

As much as I was disappointed by the signing of the DOMA, I really don't think it is fair to call it Hillary's husband's DOMA. He only signed it; he didn't propose the law

ptboat: We didn't mean to imply that Bill owns the responsibility for DOMA. We just mean to juxtapose it with DADT, another that he only signed (as a compromise).
