Gene Rayburn: Dumb Doris was so dumb...
Audience: How dumb was she?
Rayburn:...Dumb Doris was so dumb that when she heard gay icon Charles Nelson Reilly was dying, she sent him her [blank].
[Almost porn-like, 70's era music plays while contestant and panelists think]
Rayburn: So contestant, what do ya say?
Contestant: A card?
[Audience boos with contempt for the contestant's off-base answer]
Rayburn: Panelists?
Gary Burghoff: I said a box of chocolates.
Marcia Wallace: Flowers.
Richard Dawson: She sent her internal organs.
Cass Elliot: A ham sandwich.
Brett Sommers: Her shoes, you knuckleheads! She's dumb and she thought he was DYING with color, not kicking the bucket! Sheesh! I think you all are the dumb ones, not Doris!
