Going where no Baptist press outlet has gone before
We can't help but laugh when THIS is the cover image of the Baptist Press news site:
Kevin Aviance, Amanda Lepore, and a shirtless man in an HX hard hat? Hell, even OUR editorial guidelines sort of deem that "too gay for print"!
But hey, it's really good to see BP News bringing their audience some new ideas and imagery.

I love how the put "gay pride" in quotes...as if it's really something else that we're just calling gay pride. Seriously, if anything was ever so blatently out there, it's the fact that this event is to serve no other purpose than to celebrate gay pride. Someone really needs to give them a lesson on the appropriate use of air-quotes in print.

You also have to love how they say gays were "flaunting" their sexuality. They were not marching or riding in a parade, they were "flaunting". And they have some issue with "we gays" flaunting in a free country where they are free to "flaunt" their bigotry and hatred for the whole world to see as well? I am gay and I will "flaunt" any time I wish to do so!!
