I'm here, I'm a candidate's spouse -- get used to it!
In a historic move for a spouse of a presidential candidate, First Lady hopeful Elizabeth Edwards is scheduled to speak this weekend at a San Francisco Gay Pride event. Her campaign speech will be given this Sunday morning at the Alice B. Toklas Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Democratic Club breakfast at SF's Sir Francis Drake Hotel.
Positive step.
Never ones to be outdone, we hear the Clintons have already made their own LGBT outreach arrangements:
Ooh, sure to shake up the Planet, that Bill.
Rumor has it that Bill's plot will involve teaching the ladies how they can enjoy cigars, even if they're non-smokers.
