Video: Student of 'Because I said so' school fires up webcam
Sometimes anti-gay arguments make us mad. Sometimes anti-gay arguments make us sad. Yet other times, they actually make us happy, as their sheer absurdity and lack of basis would seem to only help our side:
Now, we could respond by saying things like, "How dare you suggest that gay people live their lives behind 'locked doors'?" We could protest that, "It is not normal" is a ridiculous basis for an argument, as obviously the spectrum of normalcy does and has always included homosexuality. We could ask exactly who this "us" is that is affected by homosexuality, as gay people would also seem to be part of the "us" that makes us society's whole. Or we could lash out against this young man's comparing being gay with being a rapist.
Instead -- we laugh. After all, we meet gay youth day after day, the vast majority of whom are well versed in the issues and arguments that have been used for generations to keep gay folks marginalized. If this is the best young debater the "pro-family" side is churning out, then they might as well go ahead and hand us our marriage certificates now.

Your thoughts
Is it just me or does this kid seem just a little bit gay. I've always thought those who scream the loudest are hiding the most.

He's just a little too....lets just say he's gonna do a great deal of "experimentation" in college. Ya know, just for research.

What, is he twelve? He's not even old enough to be called a fairy fetus yet. Notice the bunk beds in the background.
She'll either grow up and out of her closet or she'll be the next Roy Cohn.
