Focus on the SUCCESS!

by Jeremy Hooper

Guess what, kids? The response has once again worked! Just as they did when we pointed out their missteps back in 2005, the folks at Focus on the Family have now changed the "meta tags" on the "Homosexuality" section of their TroubledWith.com site from this...

 Good As You Images Untitled-1-16

...to this:

Fof2-2

Yes, "butch, effeminate, dyke, flamer, fag" have once again been removed, hopefully never again to be restored. But then again, we never thought they would re-implement the slurs after the '05 removal, so we will keep looking every now and then to see if they try and slip any in through the back door.

In the meantime, we'd like to thank all of you who wrote to FOF to ask how, exactly, they felt using such terms as a means to attract traffic was a socially responsible, moral decision. Perhaps if we continue to show them the way and pray for their lifestyle choices, we can eventually lead them to the path of righteousness. We will keep them in our prayers.

Your thoughts

Amen!
How very Biblical of you. I, too, will "pray for those that persecute" me. James Dobson is at the top of the list.

I will pray that the scales fall from his eyes and he begins to see how blessed my relationship with my husband is and then...

and then I will quit holding my breath

THANK YOU for pursuing this! Many would see it as too small a detail to be concerned about but I agree with you. Thanks again!
