Two types of pillaging, one condemntation
So let us ask you, gay readers: Do you think your lives are analogous to that of bank robbers?
No? You're rational people who would never be so brazen as to compare one's love life with another's criminal activity? Oh. Well then clearly you did not study sociology with Dr. Johnny Hunter of the Life Education and Resource Network, who has given this quote in regards to us pesky gays and our desire to "legitimize" our lives:
"just because a bank robber counts the money in the privacy of his bedroom does not legitimize the robbery."
Charming, right? Because everyone knows that when gays are in their early years, we all flip a coin to decide if we will follow our true sexual attractions and love in the way that is natural to us, or if we'll go hold up the local Bank of America. And, of course, whether we're counting out bills or sleeping with our Bills, we're doing so solely to legitimize our existences for those who are guaranteed to demonize us until we can bring Jesus back to perform our gay marriages!
You've got out numbers, Dr. Hunter! Now if you'll excuse this writer, I'm feeling a little counterfeit. That being the case, I need to grab my partner and play with our cold, hard....cash. Please don't sound any alarms.
