Video: And when I'm president, gays will need to move!

by Jeremy Hooper

In 2008, we will all have a very important choice to make. Fortunately, she will not be a viable option:

Wow, declaring that gays are "moral" is both incorrect and a lie? Who knew that "personal opinion based on one's religious beliefs, the likes of which eschew reasoned analysis of the natural state of the world in favor of one-sided interpretations of Biblical passages" was synonymous with truth? Here we thought we lived in a world where for something to be declared a lie, the preponderance of empirical and anecdotal evidence had to point to an opposite conclusion. But hey, what do we know -- we're just gays who feel that knowledge is best obtained by opening many books, not just one.

But at least since Ms. White's bold enough to make such a declaration with regards to gay morality, she would never be so bold as to be hypocritical about things that are far more spelled out in the Old and New Testament, would she? Like since this Godly woman holds such strict views on gay sex, she must also be opposed to those who have sex out of wedlock, right? She would also declare those sorts of people to be immoral, don't you think?

Well...

Oh.

Well, she certainly seems to already be talking in the sort of falsely sanctimonious political tones that we've come to expect over the past seven years. Who knows, Hillary -- you might want to watch your back!

Your thoughts

I find it interesting that she is a product of an interracial marriage. Something those who were trying to protect the "sanctity of marriage" 50 years ago were trying to put an end to and on the basis of religion. Does she realize if they were successful she wouldn't exist?

Sounds like a loon to me.

I wonder how people of color would feel if somebody threatened to turn over hate crimes bills on them?
