Church of the Stone-Casting

by Jeremy Hooper
"Today, the Lutheran Church (ELCA), much like the Anglican Church before them, are signing a “spiritual death certificate” by not only embracing, but adopting into law the very thing that God calls perversion and sin."

"Homosexuality is one of the most vile acts a man or woman can commit!"

"If the head is perverted, then the body will become perverted as well"

"The Bible is very clear that those who partake in the sins of homosexuality and lesbianism without repentance will never enter the ‘Kingdom of Heaven.’ Perhaps that truth offends you. I assure you that many people in hell are offended right now! "

Because like so many others, Mr. Farrar has chosen to view a handful of open-for-interpretation "clobber passages" as if God had gone through and highlighted those sections. Plus, he and his fellows make it sound as if God wrote in ink only decipherable by the evangelical eye the footnote: "Do not look at these passages with the same critical, rational eye that give to other parts of this book. I only gave your minds the ability to reason for shits and giggles."

"Treating your fellow man in a cruel, unjust, mean-spirited, immoral manner and using the Bible to justify that antipathy is one of the most vile acts any decent human can commit."

So says this proudly gay writer, who is sick and tired of the big-ass stone that these supposed moral authorities keep casting at his life!

Your thoughts

For the last time, LESBIANS ARE HOMOSEXUALS! Why is this such a common mistake? Do they not count because it's hot when two chicks do it?
