Destroy traditional marriage: The game
Well, the social conservatives have been accusing us of doing it for years. Literally. Without irony or qualms: They say we are DESTROYING MARRIAGE, as if we are pervasive aliens but here to invade humanity. Or maybe clowns in hunt for a bride and groom to "pants." Or at the very least, scribbling babies who hope to smear the face of "traditional values."
But now, my fellow gaybies from cartoonish worlds unknown, thanks to the wonders of technology, we can actually make it all a reality. Below are 41 stock photos that were pulled from various anti-gay marriage sites on the web -- all featuring nice, traditional, heterosexual-headed families. Click on the collage to realize the right wing's most fear-mongery fears. It's time to DESTROY. TRADITIONAL. MARRIAGE! <bwaa haa haa haa!>:
(brought to you by NetDisaster.com)
**NOTE: No actual traditional couples were harmed in the making of this entry. Obviously.

That's Awesome! It actually made me feel a little better about those assholes and the garbage propaganda they spew out. You can nuke them or cover them with flower power. :)

Childish. Feeds into gay sterotypes and stoops to low levels.
Posted by: Bob | Mar 24, 2008 9:00:52 AM
Oh please, Bob! It couldn't have less to do with "gay stereotypes." The only thing it addresses is the absurd idea that "marriage is under attack" by gays.
And if taking a silly approach in which animated bombs are tossed at heterosexual families in order to make a satirical point is a "low level", then those of us who prefer to approach these heated debates with an irreverent bent will just have to find happiness in the LGBT activism cellar.

Marriage is Holy and Sacred and there is nothing you shall do to break it down. Instead, the LORD HIMSELF shall BREAK YOU DOWN. You better repent and stop mocking, teasing and blaspheming GOD. He is the One who instituted and sanctified it. Repent and He shall forgive you and make you a new person. Please, repent. Thanks and God bless you abundantly.

God is against homosexuality. However, that does not mean that we are meant to hate those who do it. Instead, we should love them and pray for them every time that they may change. This is what the Lord, God wants. Thanks.
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

Oh, Kwamboak. Hopefully you will learn to look outside of yourself and your learned biases.
Posted by: G-A-Y | Jul 7, 2008 8:24:59 AM
That's just the issue. It IS all about looking outside ourselves and away from our learned biases. It is about seeing the bigger picture, understanding our purpose on the earth, and also making sacrifices for the better good. Instead of giving in to instant gratification and the "I should have whatever I want!" attidude. There's a much larger reality out there than this mortal life with its limitations. Marriage is an eternal relationship with eternal implications. Our Creator designed us this way for a reason, after His image. Who are we to demand that He change?

Tamara Wilcox, your comments are getting a bit tiresome. This is the fourth or fifth post you have commented on today, all of which involve you trying to disconnect gays from normalcy:

I see this is something you have done on many other sites as well. It would seem to need to start listening to what our side is actually saying about CIVIL LIBERTY rather than trying to create a theocracy.

Actually God is not against homosexuality, some people are against homosexuality. So that is false, and the Bible is fiction created by people who have fear and want to keep people in line that's all.
This looks like a fun game!

God is against SIN because it harms us and others When he originaly created us he didnt do it so we could defy him and disobey. He was loney and wanted us to love and to love him. But as all bad children, we disobeyd him. we all SIN. God knows we are sinful creatures, Thats why Jesus died for us, not just heteralsexual people, all of everyone. One sin is no greater or worse than another in Gods Eyes. If not with actions, then with our thoughts. NO ONE is to pass judgement on his brother or sister, because no one is without sin. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Do not point out the speck in your brothers eye when you have a plank in your own. You cant tell me all "Gays" are going to hell, that just doesnt make sense. God says the only way to him is through his son, Jesus Christ, so whomever believes in him has everlasting life. He doesnt say you have to be perfect or without sin. So If your going to represent the Lord, make sure you have all the facts.

Nothing is holy and sacred. What does holy REALLY mean? That no one is allowed to question it, right? That is all that backward thinking people want, a non questioning society following them like herds. No thanks.
Please explain to THE WORLD how is it that gays want to destroy marriages because unless I am clear on what they are, they do not want our hetero husbands or wives. They only want to marry their own kind... making the thetero society a favor. and by the way, dropping the overpopulation rate without any drugs, latex thingies or abstinence methods. That is a real plus!!!
They will keep at minimum the unholy matrimonies where the men and women ARE NOT HAPPY AND WHOLE and are just "faking it". They could come out and be themselves, seeking responsible partners who can share spouses responsibilities in a free society.
What can be more holy to the eyes of any God to be yourself and let others be equally happy? Do you want to ruin the lives of everyone retoric alone.
What do you have to fear from them?

Anyone that fans the Bible in front of my face to present a point of view is a lost cause. They haven't heard about so many other sacred books that in so many different ways represent God. So, in my view, they need to broaden their knowledge, setting aside the conditioning they have been subjected to by the random event of their birth location.
That position assumes that the book you are reading is the ultimate and only truth. (it applies to any ultra religious person--or fanatic). That cannot be, otherwise there would not be so many religions and Jesus would have gone to all the countries in the world to speak the TRUTH. Or maybe, just maybe... he did.

Why don't gay bashers take care of the adulterous in your own religious congregations, the child raping priests and the like before you get to the gays??? That is so rampant now and no one, no one seems to be surprised at all.

The day that the orphanages are empty and the divorce courts are out of business is the day I take anything that these pseudo-"Christians" have to say as serious. They may claim to have a Hotline2God, but if their acts are any indication, I suspect it may be a hotline to someone in another, somewhat warmer place.

isnt it odd that there is not even one mixed race couple in that whole collage , spanish with spanish , asian with asian , anglo with anglo , black with black , not one latino with White , not one asian with white or black .
its rather telling

Also, There are plenty of people out there who don't beleive in a single god, and waving religous texts of other religions isn't really going to convince us of anything.

I keep trying to nuke the straight families but they keep surviving!
Does that mean that gay marriage will have to stand alongside straight marriage and that neither will be undermined by the presence of the other?
What an interesting lesson to learn.
To the Bible verse writers - don't forget about David and Jonathan, the greatest human love story in the Bible. 1 Samuel 18:1,3:
"And it came to pass, when he [David] had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul . . . And Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul."

If you say that being gay is not sin, then we had better start to condone child sex and rape. They make those homosexual paedopiles happy too

i've read the other posts. i'm a Christian, and i have a definite sense of my own faith. i know there are many who have been so alienated by churches, and religion, that it's ultimately a decision to turn against it all. the posts about sin being sin is just this: sin IS sin, and every single person sins, those who believe in such things. there is no longer any kind of sanctity in marriage since "no fault" divorce was instituted. i agree that when there are no more divorces, orphans don't exist and women who suffer rape and degradation no longer need to seek abortion then there might be more to say about "sanctity." but right now, women, children, men, elders, and the disabled suffer outrageously. when the Christians who fight so hard against things like families being families no matter the sexual orientation get all those other things settled, then maybe more people will listen. when the hungry are fed, the poor are clothed, the homeless are sheltered, and the fatherless are cared for... this IS in fact what Jesus entreated His believers to do. Well? when will it happen?
