Audio: Dumb-assaults-more
Yesterday we showed you how social conservative gadfly Bob Knight was WAY overanalyzing the "Dumbledore is gay" news (and how Dan Abrams was taking the piss out of him for it). Well now Knight has returned to his old stomping grounds, the Concerned Women For America, to further demonstrate just how much their team doesn't understand that some of us (a) view gay people as part of the spectrum of normalcy, and (b) see no controversy in letting people know about this reality. Have a listen:
Hey, totality of the "pro-family" movement: CREATIVE PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO MAKE THEIR CHARACTERS GAY! In fact, many of us believe that you guys' favorite Creator took the same artistic license. Stop acting like it takes outside pressure to dream up a gay character, or that doing so is an "assault" on anything other than heterosexism!

They actually believe that the gay activists will try to push Dumbledore to be more gay in the next movie. Possibly make him come out of the closet.
Did they miss the statement that J.K. Rowling said about Dumbledore and I quote. "He is my character. He is what he is and I have the right to say what I say about him."
This warning not only goes to the loons at the CWA but also to gay activists so, in case anyone hasn't realized it yet, Rowling can do whatever she wants in the Harry Potter world and we have a choice to buy her books or not. Thats all.

"Kids will be reading through the books, looking suspiciously at every little interaction that was totally innocent at first" - um, no, adults will be doing that. Teenagers will be as well, but only in order to find lines that sound dodgy and snigger over them with their friends. Kids will not give a fuck, because kids generally don't.
Also you gotta love how "Gay headmaster = paedo". It's not like it's even a boys-only school...
