This 'queere's not f***ing running!
Think rabid gay bias is on the decline in this country? Well, think again, hopeful reader. Below is a collection of three bumper stickers that are actually up for auction right now on eBay:
Now, the two anti-gay stick figure ones are bad enough. But the John Deere parody in which a limp-wristed dude being chased by an angry, club-wieliding mob? Yea, that is NOT okay with us (nor should it be okay with eBay)! Yet despite the wretched nature of the items and the company's policy against hatred, these "charming" little decals seem to have been by eBay user blueridgetackle on a number of occasions. If you look at the feedback for the seller, you can see that he has already sold quite a few without incident.
Well, guess what? It's time to make an incident out of this! We strongly suggest that you head over to this listing and click the "report this item" link at the bottom to tell eBay why you find this offensive. You might also want to contact the eBayer and his various buyers and ask them why, exactly, they feel that beating up queers in an acceptable idea to peddle. We're sure they'll give you some sort of nonsense about free speech and their freedoms, but don't you dare be bullied. We all have a right, nay, command to support our freedom to stay unharmed and alive!
No Gay Nothing Runs Like a Queere Pro Marriage stickers [Ebay]
(H/t: Datalounge)
**UPDATE: As pointed out in our comments section, this "Nothing Runs Like A Queere" graphic was originally created by the T-Shirt Hell company a few years back. And here is how the company has responded to past criticism of the John Deere parody (intended to be taken in a satirical tone):
"Our Nothing Runs Like A Queere shirt does not advocate gay bashing. If anything, it advocates running away from people with clubs and you have to agree that is pretty sensible advice. Plus, I take umbrage at your narrow interpretation of the graphic. I like to think that the crowd is simply baseball players cheering on the guy in the logo who is their openly gay teammate Mike Piazza. Don't let your hatred for gays twist your perception you sick fuck."
Look, we are bigs fans of jokes around these parts. And we get the whole "equal opportunity offender" mantra of the T-Shirt Hell brand. We also understand those like Sarah Silverman who says bigoted things behind a veil of ignorance, which ultimately creates a teachable moment. This is none of those things. And if you are gay person who has ever personally known someone who was killed in a hate crime (this writer has), then it's hard to put your love for comedy above your other interests on this one.
**UPDATE 2: Ebay auction has been pulled.

Your thoughts
I did go to ebay to report this, however it said they cannot reply personally. Did I miss something? I would prefer not to use ebay until the gay bashing sticker is removed.

That "Runs Like..." sticker come from an original design form tshirthell.com. Of course it's offensive, but tshirthell has always been an equal opportunity offender: going after and making fun of blacks, whites, Christians, Muslims, etc.
The design is offensive, but so is everything they make. Not defending it; just saying.

Better yet, go to
https://secured.deere.com/en_US/deerecom/httpscontent/trademarkfeedback.html
and let John Deere know about the apparent trademark violation.
John Deere's trademark statement: "John Deere's green and yellow color scheme, the leaping deer symbol, and John Deere are trademarks of Deere & Company."
You can bet that John Deere is mindful of protecting its trademark from violations, particularly since it licenses the trademark for all manner of clothing and goods.

You did it, Jeremy! It's gone from ebay.
I selected "promotes physical violence" as an ebay choice and the item disappeared in just a few seconds.

Good work guys. I do think the 'report to JDeere.' advice is very good, and will do so using copies of this blog probably.

Done.... They actually have a 'Protect our LOGO' Department. Sent them copy of blog.

I also reported to eBay some of the seller's past auctions of the "Queere" stickers under "Items that glorify or promote violent crime" in hopes that they'll just suspend the seller.

Kudos to all! By the time I saw this, the auction had already been pulled! Something you can all think of the next time you hear "What have ya done today, to make you feel proud?"

Oh great, now you've done it! Now all those Free Republic thugs are going to do nothing but whine for the next three weeks how some good old boy's freedom of speech (and freedom to make a buck) was usurped by the gay agenda again.

Good job everybody. If we want others to be tolerant of us, we must show our intolerance for people like this obvious red neck. That's right..... Everyone must be as tolerant as we are. Wait a minute.... That's a paradox. Maybe our whole agenda is based on a paradox. Ahhhhhh!
Forcing tolerance had made me a hypocrite.

It's about the violence, not the parody. Had it been a "joke" whose sole punchline was that people like to beat and possibly kill Christians thus forcing them to run, then we've be just as pissed. This isn't a "sacred cow" that's being mocked in order to make a social statement -- it's a cruel gag that plays on extreme gay hate without and attempt to rebuff such. And judging by the way this Ebayer has posted it along with the other more benign anti-gay stickers, the manner in which he has interpreted the message is pretty clear.

"did you get mad at the one that said I,m with stuped?"
No, because it's nowhere close to the same thing. This was not about a joke or about "having a set." This was pure hate whose sole joke was derived from gay bashing. Not gonna apologize for finding that offensive, buddy.

Honestly, why is this so offensive? Do I ever get all mad and start boycotting if I see a tee-shirt that says, "Fuck you straight people"? No. Other websites have comments from gay people saying it's funny. They every right to do so. This is Hilarious how you gay people do this.
