Will PA Gov. be a total rick?
It is being rumored the man who became synonymous with both early 21st century congressional gay condemnations and "man-dog sex," former Senator Rock Santorum, is considering running for the Governor of Pennsylvania in that state's 2010 election.
Meaning, of course, that it's only a matter of time before gays are being linked to...
..."Man on Phillie Phanatic sex".
It's the phallic snout that really gets to him!
But don't worry, PA gays. (A) It could be all a vicious rumor, and (B) considering he lost his 2006 election by a landslide, he probably wouldn't have a snowball's chance in Hellertown, PA, anyway. So you don't have to fret about finding your innocent self unfairly placed on death row and in need of a governor's pardon just yet. We'll let you know if/when you do.

It's a tough one... currently, our governor is Ed Rendell, who is currently pretty well known for his awful economic policy, and making PA a worse place to live. He's certainly pandered to the gay community prior to elections, but he hasn't had any interest in doing anything for us (the fact that the Dems have the majority in the PA legislature notwithstanding). Santorum would probably have our state in a less miserable shape economically, aside from his religious agenda. It's another one of those choices between the lesser of two evils, of which there doesn't appear to be any.
