NC Baptists: Adjusting nicely to the Dark Ages
Today in North Carolina, the Baptist State Convention is expected to sever ties with Myers Park Baptist because the Charlotte-based church is too gay-friendly. Under a policy enacted last year, the NC Baptist Convention shuns any church that chooses to "affirm, approve, endorse, promote, support or bless homosexual behavior"; Myers Park Baptist has been found to be in violation:

Once done kicking Myers Park to the curb, we hear convention attendees will then vote to eject any church that allows their congregation to enter through the rear. After all, a "sodomy"-fearing organization can never be too cautious.
