Gayer mayor gets shorter quarter
Openly gay Gary Cloutier was elected mayor of Vallejo, California last month. But just two days after he was sworn in, a recount has found that he actually lost. By a whopping 3 votes:

And if that wasn't bad enough, now he has a reputation among gay men for being a premature evacuator. That can really hurt his chances with future poles polls!

Oh well, it may just as well be - but he should have made sure it will not happen (again :)!
