Your thoughts

Yeah, militancy is one thing for sure. I feel like there are a lot of issues with militancy within gay "community" as well, involving people who feel that you're not far out enough to be worthy enough, or something. Where's the acceptance in that?

I sort of get what the lady is saying with her sigh though. I feel like the local GLBT student group for instance goes too far out of their way to protest the little things. I've never been really sure why there needs to be nitpicking, but I suppose people will protest if they have feelings about something, and that's enough right? I just feel like people get tired of hearing about issues too much, and I know that in teaching there's an issue about people blocking out/ignoring information when they've been given too much. I'm always wary of doing this.

I hear you though.

P.S., interesting accent you've got.

Hi sweetie, you're looking FINE! *big grin* Much better.

About militancy... I dunno. If standing up for what you believe in and protesting injustice where it occurs makes you a militant I'm happy being a militant, ya know?

Hey Willie, glad you approve ;-) The iSight is not the best camera with which to demand perfection.
