I'm about 90% believing it is real. Guy was a little iffy on the military stuff and his timeline on when he went into military. Recruiter having a tough time 'talking about' experience in military is a bit of bullshit. Don't think Mike was just playing along though -- ha.

Rod Majors is having somewhat of a meltdown (especially with the claim that he wasn't allowed to go to Iraq because of his alleged HIV status), so there's no doubt in my mind that this is nothing more than baloney. It's pretty much the same as the man from the conservative group recently dressing up in drag and going into a woman's restroom (so transgenders could take the heat for it).

Rod is just too funny. Nice try though! Maybe next time he should swallow a gallon of antifreeze and then blame it on the gay jihadists.

Matt's scenario sounds totally implausible. If you had someone steal your identity or break into your bank account wouldn't you immediately go the police (who can capture phone records, etc) rather than make some lame post to Youtube? Or is it that Sanchez has a lot of dirty laundry that he doesn't want exposed in the process?

Does anyone here know any GOOD psychologists? If they want a free study case, just follow Matt Sanchez. Talk about a major paranoid disorder, not to mention an addiction to selling his ass any way possible (sexually, politically, etc.).

I've had some email correspondence with Mr. Sanchez. The fellow is unhinged. Granted I could have been more polite in my correspondence but here are a few of his reply comments:

And the best part, the weirdest part, is that he ends the last email he sends me literally with a JPEG of a drawing of him, shirtless, that someone made of him or maybe he drew himself. With absolutely no explanation. I'm happy to send it on if anyone is interested in posting it. VERY. WEIRD.

If you notice in the phone conversation, when the caller mentions that he saw a picture of Matt on a fellow soldier's computer - Matt's first concern is "So what did this guy say, hey look, check this guy out, he's kinda attractive?" It's quite obvious that Matt is not acting but is totally obsessed with how he can whore his body out to gay men.

The one part of this that really sticks out for me comes about halfway through the call. The guy tells Sanchez that he thought he saw his picture on a web site about Afghanistan. But Sanchez denied that it was him. In fact, Sanchez has been blogging from Afghanistan and he's posted pictures of himself on his web site. So why is Sanchez acting like his photograph would never appear on a military web site about Afghanistan?

Obviously the other guy is an imposter who's trying to prove Matt Sanchez has been cruising for gay sex. They met online, exchanged photos and telephone numbers, and Sanchez agreed to meet the guy because he didn't know what was really going on -- until now. I think the other guy was threatening to go public so Sanchez posted the clip on YouTube in a desperate attempt to spin the story.

Honest to God, this man is not playing with a full deck.

All kidding aside, I seriously hope he seeks professional help. We’re talking about some serious paranoia and schizophrenia here. That combined with his military training could result in a very ugly and serious situation at some point in the future.

I think gay people who are attracted to raging homophobes like this should also seek professional help. It reminds me of women who are only attracted to men who are on death row for serial killing women.

Corporal Sanchez has flipped out. He argues that gay men are part of a 'suicide cult' because they do not reproduce, and is preparing a ‘book’ on the 'Gay Jihad'. Corporal Sanchez' embarrassing and career-threatening outings as 1. gay 2. a porn star and 3. a hustler have clearly damaged his psyche. Sanchez’s gay hating is classic Freudian reaction formation, a defense mechanism in which anxiety-producing or unacceptable emotions are replaced by their direct opposites. We ought to show him some compassion while he’s in the trenches of his mental illness.
