Because the title 'DANGER, DANGER: QUEERS!' would've been too histrionic
Forget killer bees. Forget bird flu. Forget Wal-Mart. For it's not any of those things that are coming to wreck havoc on your towns. No, no -- as the American Family Association tells us in this newly issued email blast, it's actually the gays who are "coming to your town" to destroy life as you know it:
You know, we're really beginning to think these "pro-family" groups actually have a Vice President of Destroying Last Remaining Shreds of Credibility on their payrolls!

Don't they understand, that they're the ones paying the gays ridiculous sums of money to establish fabulous B&B's with fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning, build quaint boutiques with antiques from far flung places, cut their hair, and make their floral arrangements they give to their wives to make up for that episode with the hooker across the tracks? Of course the gays will go where the money is!

Hey, ease up on the AFA. It's the best ad agency we've ever had in Eureka Springs. They're drawing attention to the fact that we have the only Domestic Partnership Registry in the state, 50-plus gay-owned businesses, four Diversity Weekends a year (one pride day was just not enough), a disproportionately large gay population and have been a gay tourist destination for decades. Check out www.gaynewsbureau.com or www.eurekapride.com to get the gay take on "the San Francisco of Arkansas."
