NGLTF needs a new foreman (like Foreman)
National Gay and Lesbian Task Force executive director Matt Foreman has announced he's resigning in order to lead the Gay & Lesbian Program at the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund. Bilerico has the details:
Matt Foreman to resign from NGLTF [Bilerico]
In related resignation news, we also just heard that the director of the Smithsonian's National History Museum is stepping down from his post. So what do these two resignations have in common, you ask? Well, both men are leaving jobs from which they were required to deal with antiquated social concepts that should, in 2008, be studied in a museum rather than still lived out by the population.
Good luck, Mr. Foreman. And thanks for your role in sending bigotry to not even the museums of history, but rather the dustbins.
