'They don't want dialogue' says he who won't listen
How does Focus on the Family sum up a campaign in which the pro-gay Soulforce will visit evangelical churches and try and exchange ideas? Just read these comments from FOF's CitizenLink for that frustratingly narrow answer:
Caleb H. Price, research analyst at Focus on the Family, said the friendly façade belies the goal of the group.
He said: “Soulforce claims to want one thing — dialogue — but in reality, what they’re trying to do is disseminate a false doctrine into the wider Body of Christ."
So essentially what Caleb is saying is, "They claim they want to dialogue, but we simply refuse to hear it." Even brick walls are starting to be like, "Wow, dude -- you folks are STUBBORN," and the force of gravity is beginning to think that these kids are too inflexible.
Be sure to look for future quotes from Mr. Price, in which we hear he'll claim that gays take in oxygen not because they wish to survive, but rather because they want to use it all up before heterosexual evangelicals can get to it.
