Contest: Get sketchy
In honor of tomorrow night's second season premiere of "The Big Gay Sketch Show" (and because we know that kissing Logo's Viacom-owned butt is probably not a bad thing), we wanted to give you the chance to win the complete first season DVD set of that particular gay-centric comedy series However, this is no charity. We're going to make you work for it.
Your Mission: We want to see you, the reader, create the "Gayest Sketch" you can possibly come up with using the limited tools that we're giving you. How will you do this? Well, after the jump cut, you will find an online Etch-a-Sketch on which you can use your keyboard's arrow keys to draw whatever the hell you want. So we want you to peck out a queer-centric work of line art, then take a screen cap of it (Windows: this can be done by hitting the Print Screen button on your keyboard; Mac: With "command+shift+4," you can make a clip). Once finished, email your masterpiece to us at [email protected]. We'll judge the entires, and post the winning ones back here.
So what will it take to make your sketch "gay"? Well that's up to you. It could be naughty, and it could be nice. it might be political, and it might be cultural. The creative is your domain.
Now have it, kids -- put your childhood to work for you. And unlike those days of yore, you don't have to worry about either shaking the screen or being criticized for your gay ways this go around:
