Video: Wherein Levin endorses 'write-in'
He's referred to gays as "moral terrorists." He's tried to deny Hanukkah to queer and/or liberal Jews. He's referred to AIDS as "a physical reflection of God's displeasure" and predicted that God would punish Israel is they held gay pride celebrations. And now Rabbi Yehuda Levin is getting into the rat race of presidential politics, asking Orthodox Jews to abstain from voting for candidates that may be, among other things, too queer-friendly:
But unlike so many of Levin's other videos, we have to say of this one: This is frickin' great! Let him encourage his anti-gay peeps to either not vote at all, or to write-in a candidate that they deem kosher. Is that supposed to be some sort of a threat? Because if it is, we've totally missed the part where we're supposed to tremble. After all, when it comes to the anti-gay vote, its far better futile than fertile. And If Rabbi Levin wants so-called "pro-family" folks to throw away their vote, then who are we to argue? We're tired of arguing. We're ready to reach the day when someone who has so boldly declared war on our lives and loves will NEVER be greeted by a candidate that caters to his stigmatizing, demonizing ways!!
So thanks for this, Rabbi Levin. And thank you also for doing your part over the past few years to show America why, exactly, extreme conservatism is counterproductive at best, mind-numbingly frightening at worst.

*UPDATE: In a LOL-inducing press release, Levin has gone so far as to say he has "banned" voting for the candidates with which he disagrees:
